Scandinavian teak or oak framed chairs, often Danish design finished with Danish cord which is made of woven paper.  Dating from the very late 1940s and 1950s, many of the most iconic chair designs are now much sought after with designers such as Hans J. Wegner, Karl Schroder, Borge Mogensen and Jorgen Henrik Moller. After a number of years the paper cord may begin to sag and that is where we at Willowcraft Renovations come in. Drawing on our 35 years of experience in seating chairs, we can replace the existing cord using authentic designs to offer a new lease of life to the iconic, much sought after chairs
