Danish cord

70's stylising is something many homes and interior design experts are looking

at these days. One area that causes a lot of interest is teak furniture, the look

of which is often inspired by Scandinavian designers. Danish Cord chairs are very popular at the moment and there are many examples still gracing dining tables since the 1970's.

Designers such as Hans Wegner, Borge Mogenson and Niels Moller lead the field in expressing the Danish sense of hygge - defined as "a quality of cosiness...a feeling of contentment or well-being"

At Willowcraft Renovations we like to think our ethos of repairing rather than replacing these chairs fits in well with Danish hygge.

Here are some example of our work.
